Why bother with vibration control?

<body bgcolor="#000000"> <p align="center"> </p> <p align="center"> </p> <p align="center"><font color="#FFFF00">WHY  BOTHER  WITH  VIBRATION  CONTROL  ?</font></p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left"><font color="#808080" size="4">Crystal Cloud isolation products are designed to eliminate structural vibration excited in the structure of the listening room.   Isolation is achieved using wide bandwidth mechanical filters.</font></p> <p align="left"><font color="#808080" size="4">Removing vibration has a profound effect on system performance improving sound staging, tonal balance,  timing, treble focus, bass extension and detail.</font></p> <p align="left"><font color="#808080" size="4">Most structural vibration is generated by the loudspeakers.   The magnitude of this vibration depends on the volume the loudspeakers are reproducing; an increase in volume will excite more vibration in the structure of the room.  This is true for both long loud sections of music and short high level  bursts.   Quiet sections of music are also affected because the room stores and then dissipates vibration after a preceding loud section has stopped.  These changes in volume or transients are a fundamental part of all types of music.</font></p> <p align="left"><font color="#808080" size="4">The Isofloat platform uses compliant isolators and the mass of the equipment that is being isolated to filter unwanted vibration.
