The Isofloat is a high performance wide bandwidth isolation platform, designed to remove audible distortion from bass to treble. Music becomes more natural, more involving and less fatiguing.
The materials and techniques used in the Isofloat are chosen for superlative mechanical and acoustical performance.
The Isofloat is a four layer design the top plate is machined from Cast Acrylic; a rigid and well -damped material ideal for this application. The top plate is supported by four compliant elastomer mountings, designed to give a high degree of de-coupling from structural vibrations (See Why bother with vibration control ? For details.) These elastomer mountings are supported by a solid medium density fiber plinth mechanically grounded by four feet with very low surface contact area. However unlike cones these feet will not damage delicate surfaces.

Although sound quality is important, sonic improvements have not been at the expense of good visual design and attention to detail. The Isofloat is visually stunning and will maintain a high standard of finish and reliability.
The Isofloat is a modular design. Platforms can be stacked on top of each other to reduce vibration further and improve isolation bandwidth.
Another advantage of modular design is the ability to upgrade. Crystal Cloud products offer flexible upgrade paths, making it possible to resolve cost and performance considerations whenever they arise.
